Warts
These are painful growths that can form on the bottom of the foot. They are extremely painful when the wart or warts are “pinched.”
Warts are caused by a virus and of the person does not have immunity they can persist and even spread to other parts of the foot. Treatments used at our office consist of application of medications followed by daily applications of medications by the patient at home. Another very successful treatment we use is called Cryoprobe. This method freezes the warts and after several treatments they fall off by themselves.
Not every treatment works for every patient and at our office we try many different medical or surgical treatments until the warts go away.
