This highly painful condition results after surgery or after an injury. It is a rare condition but we treat many patients with it who come to us from far away. The symptoms include burning, changes in temperature, feelings of depression and severe pain. The treatment that we find most effective is intense physical medicine. At our office we have 19 different modalities that we use. In some cases we will prescribe some of these modalities for patients to use at home. One modality that was developed for this condition which patients use at home is called the Dynatronics STS. With proper usage of this modality people get a great deal of relief. We have a very high success rate in helping people with this condition.
